Education And Prevention Workshops
ŌCASA delivers education programmes to rangatahi/youth aged 14 to 18 years. We specialise in delivery to alternative education sites. The programme covers the following topics:
- Healthy Relationships
- Consent and communication
- Myths and Digital Safety
- Pornography
Prevention Workshops are available to professionals and other services and can be adapted. Topics could include the following:
- About ŌCASA Services
- Responding to disclosures
- Impacts of Sexual Violence
- Preventing Sexual Violence
Programmes and workshops may be adapted to meet the specific needs of the community and education providers.
Reaching out for support can be difficult, but it is important to know that you don’t need to speak about what happened when reaching out for support to cope with the effects of sexual violence.
